I have been training for a half marathon that's going to take place in South Padre on Oct 4th. My ankle started bothering me last week and I just got my results from the MRI i had yesterday. Sadly to say, I do have a stress fracture like we suspected. I'm so SAD! haha I'm still planning on running in the half marathon (I already registered for it and we also paid for the condo that we are staying in) but i won't be able to do the same training for a while. I will be doing a lot of work outs in the pool. I'm going to do whatever I can to help it heal faster! haha I REALLY want to run in the race. Oh well.. at least we have the perfect excuse for a vacation on the beach!
On to a better subject, Sept 18th is my last day of work..! I'm so excited cause I get to hang out with the girls before we take off to Utah. I'm going to miss you guys once we are gone!

Wow.. what a trooper! I will miss my running partner for awhile, but I'm so glad you're still planning on doing the race! Except now I'm going to feel dumb on race day when you're running me into the ground, injury and all!
What a bummer! Its so frustrating when you've put so much time into training...and then injury strikes! :) Hope it heals fast for you! That's great that your last day of work is coming so soon! BUt I can't believe you guys are leaving so soon! Please lets hang out before you leave!
How sad Abi! I guess at least you can walk!! I hope it gets feeling better soon! We would love to hang out! I can't believe you're moving out here so soon! Yay another friend out my way!! Where are you planning on moving? Does Dallas have any ideas on where he will be working?
